Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Best place to watch sunset. Great views as the sun sets and all the city lights turn on. So peaceful us there.

This is an easy, beautiful walk. Relatively flat. This was not as crowded as others. Parking and restrooms at the start of the trail. We saw not only hikers, but bicyclists and horseback riders. I’d recommend this trail to anyone wanting nice views and not a lot of vertical rise!

Awesome but difficult hike to the top of the trail. Incredible 360 views of Phoenix, Scottsdale, Glendale, Mesa and all points in between. Would recommend starting just before sunrise to experience the amazing beauty! The trail gets more difficult as you go higher but the beginning is ok for average hikers. We were there during cooler weather so heat was not an issue but would be a concern in warmer months. Stunning scenery and a great workout!

Had a blast here. You can navigate according to your conditioning and comfort level. We went up to several peaks. You get great views of Phoenix off in the distance as well as Tempe and Glendale. At the base, you can look down on some very nice neighborhoods.

We are in from out of town and I wore traditional running shoes. They were fine but trail shoes would have been better.

Very highly recommend.

Great City of Phoenix park. Restroom facilities, cooled drinking water, covered picnic tables, plenty of parking and equestrian trailer parking and tie-up area. Whether you're a beginner or expert this park offers something for everyone. Several locations offer great city views and desert scenery and wildlife are all around.
