This is a fun place to stretch your legs from your travels and see an interesting fish farm. Lots of trout to see. Bring some quarters and watch the fish go crazy over food pellets.

We drove through the Hatchery on a day that was not open. We were able to see the ponds and get an idea of what the hatchery did. Hope to go back when it is open.

friendly worker answered our questions...loved looking at the tanks full of "sized" trout. Beautiful visit to Tonto Creek right below the fish hatchery

The hatchery is a quick and scenic drive off the highway, and a fun little excursion for the kids. They had so much fun feeding the fish. Also, keep an eye out for bald eagles in the treetops.

The hatchery sits at the base of the rim. Very cool and shady in the summer great for the kids you can catch the highline trail for a bit or just enjoy tonto creek itself

This was a good stop for our kids to see how the trout are raised and released. Bring quarters to feed them, and you can walk down stream and actually fish! The visitors center was not open and the 'museum' section was a little disappointing...More
