I went with friends not knowing anything about what I was to experience. It was like going to a private shelter on the moon where human and other life could survive. Like a college class on environment, climate, weather and life in these climates. Amazing...More

First time here, and found it well worth the price using a Groupon. It's a bit of a walk at times but there were always cooling areas such as in the lungs of the Biosphere where one felt a high cooling gust of wind at...More

It is really exhilarating to get know and see that efforts are made to understand, develop conditions for developing and maintaining certain habitats. Overall experience was very good.

It was pouring outside when I visited so that made me very glad to be inside what is essentially a giant greenhouse. The building itself looks like something from that old TV series 'Space: 1999', and it's well worth wandering around the outside of the...More

Very interesting and though provoking tour. Enjoyed seeing the "mock" rain forest and Caribbean portions. The most interesting was the "lung"! How amazing! I could just picture this giant thing breathing! Great tour guide that explained all the workings and history of the Biosphere 2....More

What a fascinating place. I have read about it for years and finally got to visit it. Definitely worth the trip. We had an excellent guide, Catherine who obviously loved the place and explained everything and was excellent with answering questions.

You don't need reservations. I'm not sure if there is a price difference but if you are going, you need to take the tour to see most of the biosphere. Without the tour you will only see a fraction of the biosphere. It's a... More
