We weren't sure what to expect here as we'd heard it was next to the port in busy Apia, plus we'd been snorkelling off some beautiful beaches in the South. However we were so glad we made the decision to visit. The coral is amazing...More

I have been meaning to go here for a while now but hadn't gotten round to it. Now I wish I had! What a beautiful spot. Not only was there great snorkelling but the setting is amazing. We took a picnic lunch and were so...More

Fantastic snorkelling spot, amazing coral reef. Tropical fish as soon as you enter the water. Do recommend beach feet/wetsuit shoes to protect feet and save coral. Nice trees and shade provided from sun, swings for kids and shaded fale. Wonderful spot.

Great snorkelling once out deep. Not much to see on way there. They have gear to hire which is good, and a nice set up.

Cheap entry fee. Very good value with fales, picnic tables, change rooms, tree swings and of course the amazing snorkelling! Don't go during low tide. Also, it's more difficult for smaller kids since you have to swim out a bit to see the good stuff....More

We walked from town to the reserve which took about 20 minutes. 5 tala entry and 11 tala each for hire of a snorkel and mask. There is a lovely shaded area with benches, rocks and platforms for sitting, as well as some excellent swings...More

Just make sure you go nearer to high tide. We thought it was worth a visit if you are in town. There are better places else where on the island but this is cheap and easy to get too. They provide good shade and change...More

I stayed at Sheraton Aggies in Apia and this site is just minutes away by walk from the hotel. This snorkeling site was looking dull at first until I got to deeper part and corals and fish were much more diverse than it first appeared...More

Even sitting in waist deep water near the shore we could still see plenty of fish, so it would be fine for anyone who is able to put their head under water. Having said that, there is a strong current (we weren't told about... More

They just rent out snorkelling gear - take your own food and drinks - lovely spots to picnic under shade. I think entry was about 5 Samoan tala or maybe 10 but terrific value. Saw loads of fabulous fish. Suggest one hour... More
