Take lots of pawpaw skin.expect the turtles to be slimy, wear reef shoes. I was undecided about whether to visit after reading reviews, but the kids loved this experience.

It is a long way to go to feed and swim with the turtles. We did think it would be in a ocean pool and were disappointed that it was in a concrete pool at the back of a house. There were quite a few...More

My husband and I visited this place today and to be honest if we had known what it was like there is NO WAY we would have gone. It is NOT swimming with turtles, it is feeding captive turtles, in a dark, dank pond, with...More

Don’t go to Savai’i without visiting this place. A once in a lifeline experience for my kids. The turtles are friendly and easy to swim with. We got some amazing footage with the GoPro.

We visited here several years ago and hated the experience. We’re back in Savaii right now and hearing how troubled many other operators are by the fact that this is even considered tourism. The turtles are not healthy, when they die they are replaced from...More

We were attracted to a day in Savaii by this tourist experience. Very concerned about the murky pool water and no facilities for toileting or showering. The turtles are wonderful creatures but in this situation exploited.

We really enjoyed our experience. But we did need to readjust what a 'sanctuary' for animals should be like. Keep it in perspective. This is not a first world country and what they are trying to do is commendable. Don't bother swimming as the water...More

We visited the the turtles and were saddened by what we saw. The turtles are kept in captivity and visitors not supervised so were getting mistreated; parents were encouraging their children to chase the turtles then hold them up for experience. We were appalled there...More
