We work with small groups of up to 18 passengers in a familiar and friendly environment with the company of professional Spanish and English speaking guides.
The excursions are carried out with the "KAMS and" TELIENKA "yachts, twin vessels of 15 meters in length, which due to their dimensions allow a maximum approach to the islands allowing preferential sightings.
During our tour we visit Isla Alicia, Isla de Pájaros and Isla de Lobos, where we make very close sightings of the fauna of the Beagle Channel. We know the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse built in 1919, a true emblem of the City of Ushuaia. At the end, we disembark at Bridges Island to walk a path of interpretation of flora and birds, telling the story of the Yámanas aborigines. Here are the largest Yámana anthropogenic shells in the region.
It also has a panoramic point from where we can observe the magnificence of the Beagle Channel with the City of Ushuaia in the distance.

My wife and I decided to do this 2+ hour adventure as an excursion from our cruise ship. What a great decision my wife made. We rode up and down the mountain, through the ocean, under and over bridges, and across streams. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The trails are not groomed by any means, but the trail horse knew exactly what they were doing without incident. It was a very enjoyable afternoon overall, and everyone that joined us felt the same way. The guides did a very nice job throughout. Highly recommended.

We recently went on the 2 hour ride from our Viking Jupiter cruise, it was an outstanding tour from the time we left the ship till the time we returned. The riding tour guides were outstanding in helping with the horses and providing a wonderful narration on the tour regarding the area we rode. The ride was outstanding taking us through beautiful trails in the forest and in the hills surrounding Ushuaia. The tour included pictures by a lake, and ended with wonderful coffee and treats...Would love to come back and do the 4 hour ride

We booked the 4 hour ride. Picked up by taxi from our hotel. The weather was dry but cloudy with typical Ushuaia strong winds at times. We were a mix of levels of experience. Tour was mostly walking with a bit of trotting and a couple of options to canter if we wanted. The trail went from forest track, to unpaved road and then got interesting with some seriously steep slopes up and down through forest, through scrub and marsh, over rocks and beaches. The horses are so sure-footed and Josie, our guide told us when we needed to lean forward or back and what routes to take so that I never felt insecure, just amazed at the horses' abilities to navigate the terrain. Josie was really encouraging, particularly on the trickier sections. We had a sandwich lunch and a chat on the beach next to the Beagle Channel enjoying the beautiful view over to some islands and Chile beyond. I wouldn't recommend the 4 hour ride if you've not got a lot of experience but if you're comfortable on a horse it's a real adventure ride and a great location.

Do not hesitate to book this horseback tour. We were lucky that we had excellent weather for the 4 hour tour. The horses are amazing animals and the scenery was breath-taking. If you are able bodied and love animals I would not hesitate to book this tour.
