Had to pay for the entry for this museum which only had 2 rooms. Very disappointing plus no evplanations in English, only Spanish. No concessions for European pensioners!!

We visited here the day before we left for Antarctica and learned a great deal about the early history of Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego. The ticket we purchased at the End of the World Museum got us in here too.

The other... More

I think this would have been a good museum, but all the descriptions of the artifacts and pictures were only displayed in Spanish. My Spanish is pretty sub-par and I could make out some of the descriptions This was the only museum I went to that didn't have multiple language descriptions.

Lots of interesting photos and histories here plus a few artifacts - like the old shopping center token slot machine! 30 minutes should be enough time to spend here. Staff was helpful. Cost minimal. Your ticket (10 pesos) gets you access to the Maritime museum as well.

This was an average museum with basic displays in general. The wildlife display was good. Our ticket from the maritime museum also allowed us in to this museum. One plus was the diplays were also in English.
