It´s a nice museum to understand the glaciers and it´s importance to the area and the world. It´s a self guided tour, where you can read about the glaciers, with a movie in the end. I think it would be much nicer if there were guided tours there.

Very nice museum. Shows you everything you need to know about glaciers and the effect of climate change. The free shuttle from town is a plus. The price of 300pesos pp is ridiculous considering the 1.5 hours you can spend there. On the other hand, there isn't much else to do, so this is a must see location...

Admission is $20. You are walking through halls with description of glaciers and then you can watch numerous movies about the area and glaciers. Big disappointment. $5 is worth it, $10 is too much, $20 is a rip off

Definitely a must do before a trip to Perito Moreno or any other glacier in the area. There is a wealth of information on the formation and deterioration of the glaciers. There is a great video presentation and a many exhibits to satisfy all those glacier questions that have been bothering you for a while!

Very nice exhibition on glaciers in general and especially in patagonia but i think too expensive with 15 US$. Fortunatelly during my stay there was the Banff Mountain Film Festival which was taking place as well in the Glaciarium so it was much ok. They offer free transportation from and to El Calafate once per hour. The bus leaves 1... More

Amazing. Worth all the hours in the car. We spent 2 hours simply looking at the glaciarium and did not want to skip a view. Mostly recommended.

I enjoyed the friendly staff as they guided us to the history of the glaciers- the ice bar is a great plus! Our bartender was the best!

This place is a great place to visit, the architecture is really cool and interesting, I wish they would of done it all over not only on the facade. The place is well worth it as it explains a lot about glaciers and its very well organized, the exhibitions are very well done except for one, the 3D movie. I... More

Great place to learn more about glacier. The movie was just ok. The free shuttle has made it easy to visit. There is limited to do in town so this is a good option.

Good explanation of what glaciers are all about. Would be best to go before you go to the glacier. they have a free shuttle to get you out there.
