Fun day! The hike was fun and once we were at the top the views were amazing. It was a long drive from El Calafete but our guide was terrific providing a lot of great history and info. The 4x4 part of the excursion was a bit misleading as there was not a true 4x4 adventure as we were expecting (four wheeling) but rather a 40 min ride in a van over some rough terrain to get to the start of the hike. Overall we would do this trip again!

Big Ice trek was one of the most amazing glacier experiences I have ever had. The service provided was excellent by the guides on the ice, the bus driver and the guide on the bus and the boat crew and of course Perito Moreno is amazing - if you are the first group (of 6 a day only - 10 people in a group) on the ice in the morning you have the ice field all for yourself. Go for it! You won't regret!

Simple (and few)accommodations with meals; horseback riding, walks, and excursions (perito Moreno glacier) etc. Nice way to experience Patagonia around El Calafate. It is a 1.30 hour drive from airport in the National park. The restaurant that serves lamb is excellent. The other little restaurant serves simple but good dinners. They also have a small but nice wine choice.

We booked, paid for and received “instant confirmation” for Grey Line Argentina’s Walk With The Penguins tour, yet two days later they cancelled our booking. What use is instant confirmation if they say something is available, confirm the booking, but still go ahead and cancel. Also, their communication skills in written English are laughably poor

We booked this trip 2 days before departure from Chile, All confirmed and paid. No mention that we had to reconfirm with passport numbers the day before 5pm for pick up. We were travelling the next day without internet the next day and arrived in hotel at 7pm. We responded immediately. No pick up the next day and we missed the entire trip and no refund when asked. This is is scam. All necessary passport information could be obtained at booking. DO Not use this company- Grey line Argentina/Viator. Spend your money with others.
