The perito moreno path is organised so well that you can enjoy the view of the majestic glacier from many different points. The wooden paths unfold along the lake and enter in the forest, in some occasions. What else to say about the glacier? Just visit it. Any word is useless here

Access to see and enjoy the Moreno glacier is good for nearly everyone. Their are ramps to allow wheelchair access for a portion of the walkways. The glacier and park are mind blowing. Best day. Bring food and water with you. The cafeteria and shop are limited in choices and expensive.

Having seen lots of glaciers I thought this trip might be a little boring....it was great! Argentina has built a large, wonderful walkway/boardwalk with gorgeous views of the glacier. We took the hour-long boat trip to get close to the glacier, but it's really not necessary....the views are better from the walkway and one gets more of a sense of the size and drama of the glacier.

Beautiful views from all the routes. I liked the lower platform. Take your time and see it all. So pleased that the conditions allowed us to take it slowly and stop and watch all the calving activity. Also glad that we did a boat ride first - we were not going to but the weather was bad/raining and our tour suggested we start in a boat. So happy we did because it cleared up after an hour for us to be able to walk.

One of a Patagonia trip's must see attractions Don't miss this excursion from El Calafate. The colours in the photographs don't do justice to this immense glacier. The story of how it moves and blocks the valley every few years is told in a movie at the Glacierium museum just outside of town , I recommend the museum and the movie.Go before going to the glacier if you can.
