This longer hike takes you to a refugio (or lodge) with a wonderful lake nearby. The best hike in Bariloche area.

This one day hike was a brilliant starter for ten in Patagonia. You take the bus from the centre to the Catedral chairlift (it leaves quarter past the hour from the same stop as the airport bus) and the trail is signposted from the car...More

Did this mid december, nice day hike even for casual hikers & not too strenuous. Easily accessible trail & well marked so no real need for special gear if going at this time of year. Caught bus from Bariloche at 9am, bus back at 6pm...More

Not only excercising is great, but also you can do it during one day. Arriving to the Refugio and laguna is unique, and the Catedral Needles are huge!! You can ascend on the lift chairs and walk through the Filo... or go by the path...More

Yes, it`s possible to do, not after a snowstorm, there`s possibility of avalanches, but yes. I recommend you do it. I work at La Justina Hostel Bariloche
