We have an AirBnB condo on Playa Centenario with the best views possible. We've walked the lakeside down to Playa Centro, where the main pier is located. Today we were able to watch a lake swim. It's about a mile by water, most swam round trip but some exited here. Wet suits of course. The temperatures run 55-59 (f), although the locals swim here. The water is crystal clear and it must be great to have a sail boat or any boat to explore the vast reaches of this lake.

Take the Campanario Chairlift ride to the observation decks to enjoy the magnificent all around views of Lago Nahuel Huapi and Lago Moreno and Mt. Tronador in the distance with the gleaming mountain glacier. There is a small cafe and souvenir shop on the observation deck that you ought to visit. The lazy chairlift ride is nice especially coming down because you get to see the views all the way.

Beautiful and giant lake. From several places in Bariloche we have views to it. Many hotels are on its shores and many tours, such as the Circuito Chico, pass through several points in it. Great for beautiful photos.

This lake is simply one of the most beautiful places in the world. The scenery is just stupendous. Can't emphasize enough - it is most definitely worth a visit to this area just to see it.

Nahuel Huapi Lake is one of the most gorgeous sites I have ever seen. Around the lake there are many charming hotels and resorts you can stay at. Additionally, there are camping areas for more adventorous people.

Lake Nahuel Huapi is among the most beautiful sites that I've seen. It's grandeur is emmense. We went in the spring which is a perfect season to explore. The overall experience - hikes, meals, hotel, scenic drive and warmth of the people - were all amazing. It's etched in my memory and with any luck, I'll be back!

We drove from Bariloche for 2 hours through the most stunning and breathtaking scenery. We took a lot longer than planned because at regular intervals ewe had to stop and just take in the sensational lakes and snow capped mountains - simply sensational. Don't miss exploring this (particularly in Spring and Summer).
