Took minivan tour out of Bariloche for 1000pesos to San Martin. Got off in San Martin and spent 2 days there. The van stopped in Villa Agostura and all the lakes. Ofcourse it is beautiful but after a while all the lakes scenery is similar. I personally prefer the high vistas.

It goes through 11 lakes, not only seven, and even though it is only 225 km long, it takes a whole day because you will want to stop and take photos and enjoy the view all the time!

Driving the road of the seven lakes is wonderful! Seems like every few kilometers is another lake. Each more beautiful than the last. Definitely take the turn off and drive in to see lago Hermosa. Bring beach towels and hang out a while. Water is super clear. There is a small restaurant with patio overlooking the water. Wonderful drive!!

An absolutely gorgeous scenic drive. However, to enjoy it without stress, pull over often to let the universally impatient local drivers by.

The drive from Bariloche to San Martin de los Andes (or back) is a great drive with many scenic spots to stop at. Some lakes might even invite you to take a break and enjoy the quiet and beautiful views.

If you come to this region this rout is a 'must' for driving. During summer there are so many colorful plants along the way that make you feel like driving in a disneyland.

One of the most beautiful trips you can do in the Patagonia, you can stop in lots of viewpoints to enjoy the stunning view of the mountains, rivers, vegetation, just amazing.

A pleasant drive along the lakes with all the mountain ranges. Good roads. Needs caution when wanting to stop at look outs.

I thought this whole route was lovely. Something to see around every bend, Nice places to stop and eat some lunch (picnic style). Road is paved the whole way. Loved this drive!
