We could have spent many more hours here, unfortunately we were on a shore excursion so time was limited. The staff made the museum come alive and it was so well presented. Great to be able to touch so many of the fossils and also to watch the scientist uncovering more in their workroom. In the future the museum is... More

If you enjoy History and Dinosaurs this is a great Tour. The displays are very well done and documented. It's amaizing what a few thousand years have done in this area, takes climate change to a whole new scale. Make you realize just how little man knows or effects the overall world climate. The Dinosaurs in Patagonia are a wonderful... More

Came here on a Princess cruise land tour. As a geologist, I was already aware of the record-setting dinosaurs discovered in Patagonia by museum staff, and visiting the museum was a no-brainer. I was not disappointed! This is a modern, relatively small museum in a small city, but extremely well organized. Our English-speaking guide gave a thorough tour, hitting appropriate... More

This is a great museum to view the prehistoric life. The one disadvantage is that there is no English translation. I realize that Spanish is the language displayed and so it should be. What I would like to see is headsets with English or other language as an option.

When our concierge suggested we stop in this museum on a city tour of Trelew and surrounding sites, we were apprehensive. After all, Trelew is not exactly a booming metropolis. However, to our surprise, it was a very pleasant hour. Yes, hour. This is not the Museum of Natural History in NYC or the Smithsonian in Washington. It is a... More

Because our flight was delayed for two days (!) we had some time to kill. My husband reallllly wanted to go to this museum because: dinosaurs!! A nice lady from the front desk told us a little bit about the exhibition. She informed us that all important information was both in Spanish and English. A big part of the information... More

We stopped off here on the way back from watching the penguins at Punta Tombo. The museum is small and took us about an hour to walk through. The displays are impressive and the museum is well laid out.
