Playa El Doradillo is a beautiful beach! We didn't see whales when we we're there, but still enjoyed the views. Worth a visit!

This is an incredible site, you have to go on high tide. The whales get very very close to the beach

We rented bicycles from Napra at 999 Bv. Almte Brown in Puerto Madryn and went out to the beach with a lunch. Best experience ever! At one point we saw 10 whales at once!! For 2.5 hours is was a whale a second!! Absolutely amazing!!

Not far from Puerto Madryn city this beach is the best whale watching place besides Puerto Pirámides in the peninsula. You will watch whales as close as 50 feet (15 meters) away from the shore. A must see half day trip.

From all beaches seen in the area, i would say this is the best one. Although no facilities, and you have to drive 20 to 30 minutes to get there, the beach is extense, does not have too much people, and the water is calm...More

This is an amazing opportunity to see (Southern Right) whales really close up. At the start of our ("sunset journey") we were quickly kitted up (life jackets) before going to the boat. As we headed out we passed sea lions on a nearby headland and...More

It is about an hour and a half to 2 hours on a bike. Walking is not really an option. I would take the Peninsula tour and check with the local guides if the whale watching is worth it this time of year.

the best option is to rent a car, but you can hire a 'remis' (like a cab or uber service) to take you there..
