Sufficient reason to visit this museo is the wonderful preserved three story plus lookout house and super curved staircase. The museo contents are precious too, even if aging...the free admission, though very kind, probably makes improvements difficult. You can visit here for a well spent...More

Having read some info about this small museum in Puerto Madryn, I knew what to expect. In deed, there was not much to see neither specifically interesting. If you miss visiting it, you won't have missed much. Good place to go on a rainy and/or...More

Good to have been Trip Advised on what to expect. Pleasant for a wet Saturday early evening. Free entry and a brisk walk from the main streets. Handed the book published to celebrate the recent creation of this museum. The English sections have lovely quotes...More

We walked the city and rode on public transportation. Were still amazed with the King Penguins we saw in the Falklands and wanted to see seal lions,.

This museum gives you the oppertunity to look at Puerto Madryn in a different way. The musuem is built up in different section/floors. Sea-life, wild-life and the influense of people upon it!

This is an old style museum and the highlight of the visit is the +12feet giant squid they have on display. It's better to check the time they are open at the info center since it tends to change specially off season. We got there...More

very detailed centre of area both sea and land, should not be missed, not that far from city. Definitely not walking distance. When visiting Madryn to rent a car is quite a good idea.
