Usery is a nice local park with an easy trail loop, good for young children. Older kids and adults can be more adventurous hiking to the Wind Caves. Good outdoor location for a quick weekend hike.

Less than an hour from central Phoenix, Usery Mountain Regional Park offers fabulous hiking in the desert to the East of the city. The use of the word desert for this region is a bit of a misnomer as it is full of life with...More

Usery mountain has awesome trails, if you go all the way to the alcove, bring water. This trek is not as easy as it looks from the parking lot.

Usery Pass Mountain has several trails of varying difficulty. There is a trail for everyone. The views from the top of the mountain is amazing. The views extend as far as the eyes can see.

Enjoyable, clean, clear trails. Good parking. Great guide walks in the evenings. A way to enjoy God's creation in a relatively safe environment (if you stick to the trails).

Don't know about it and I was just there again last week safely. I would ask the person at the entry gate as they would probably have up-to-date information. Enjoy!
