Designed by landscape architect LeRoy Brady, the Desert Southwest's largest rose garden, where nearly 8000 rose bushes bloom in the desert. Take time to smell the roses by taking a stroll through The Garden and view its tremendous number of vibrant colors, flower forms and growth habits. The terrace areas of the East and West gardens can be reserved for intimate settings such as weddings, music ensembles, theatrical readings, and art displays. Tours are also available.

A free public park that you can stroll around, sit and visit and just enjoy the flowers. Interesting to see the varieties names for Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland, Julia Childs and others. We were there over Easter weekend and still plenty of blooms.

The idea is fantastic. The variety of Roses are hybrids for the most part. They're covered in aphids year-round. Never dead-headed. Never groomed. This Rose garden could rival those around the world if there were someone consistently tending to it.

This is a must see in late March and early April. There was a huge assortment of colours and types of roses that produce the most incredible fragrances. Will return next year.

What a wonderful free activity. The roses are meticulously kept. There were many different varieties of roses. And there were many more roses than we expected to see. We had a very enjoyable visit to the unexpected gem!

Their website says April/May/June + October/November/December are the best months to see blooming roses here in the Valley of the Sun. Enjoy!
