We made the mistake of coming on the first Sunday of the month. I think all the museums are free the first Sunday of each month. The place was packed! I would probably give it a higher rating, but it was wall to wall people...More

The kids loved it, it is fun, lots of exhibits that change year round, nice play area to the right in the front for younger kids and its hard to get kids to leave once they get going here

I took 2 boys age 9. They were entertained for awhile but I had to slow them down to do most things. Then it became evident that most activities were sit down, quiet activities like coloring. The venue needs some active bouncing things to do.

Along my journey exploring Mesa I found this family gem with younger children. The Idea Museum is the perfect activity for small children offering a creative outlet. Who doesn’t want to color, create and be inspired by science.

If your grandchild is under the age of 3, I would not recommend it. I would check their website on costs as it has changed since I last visited.
