Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Well you so you decided to take a city tour, come and visit, more because of the park and to understand how they use the Indian process to bring water to the trees and all ... nothing else...

If visiting the city you can avail of the Hop on Hop off bus to reach the park. The entry gate and fountain is spectacular but 2nd to the huge monument at the top of the hill.

It was a national holiday on Friday and we needed to get some walking in. We walked on Emilio Civit from the Diplomatic Hotel....a beautiful street. We were amazed that the parque had SO FEW people. We did jaunt over to Rosedal and the Lago and then headed back to our hotel.

It is the main gateway to Parque General San Martin, since it has other areas where you can also enter. They are iron gates, and in the highest part they have a condor.

Standing at the end of Av. Emilio Civit, these impressive wrought iron gates herald the entrance to the Parque San Martin and are well worth stopping to study for a good photo op.

Its a lovely entrance for the park. From here you can to the information desk and they give you a map so you can make the walk up to Cerro La Gloria.

Parts of this park are better maintained than others, but, overall, a fairly nice place to stroll along tree lined paths offering relief from the heat. There is a swimming pool, water lagoon, bike trails, and jogging trails. This park is big, so plan on a few hours to see much of it.

This beautiful french iron wrought gates were damaged a couple of years ago but subsequently repaired and painted. Are very attractive and a good opening for the wonderful park that lays behind, and right in front of the Marley horses.
