Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I found the pedestrian promenade very spacious and well maintained, with a diverse culinary offering ranging from pastas and meats to fast dishes and Thai food, which is very attractive. In addition, I felt safe walking through the area, as there was no street trade, and the benches distributed along the promenade provided a comfortable place to rest. However, I don’t give it the highest rating because I think it lacks a more prominent cultural offering, such as art exhibitions, live music or similar activities that would enrich the experience.

This street is incredibly colourful and happening. There is a whole plethora of cafes and restaurants serving great food and drinks, therefore it is a great place to stop off and rest whilst exploring this beautiful town!

It is a tourist attraction in Mendoza since 1989. Located in the heart of the city it is a lovely foot passage peppered with cafes, bars, restaurants, outdoor benches. You will frequently see here street performers and artists. The area seems reasonably safe and there is a lot of friendly preventional police presence.

Lined with bars and restaurants. A stroll on a hot summer day. Stop in a few different restaurants to have snacks and sips some wine.

This pedestrian walk comprises three blocks. It is a tree-lined walkway surrounded by restaurants and bars, with their outside tables, shops - all kinds of shops, mostly wine shops - coffee shops, shoe and handbag shops, even beauty salons and barber shops. This is where everything happens, from street musicians to concerts sponsored by the municipality. On one end is the beautiful Plaza Independencia, with its fountains and artisans shops, and on the other end is the busy San Martin Avenue, with more shops and restaurants. This is the place to go in Mendoza to relax, maybe have a cup of coffee, a beer or a glass of wine, while listening to live music and watching the passersby. This is also one of the stops of the Mendoza City Bus Tour, where you can stop for lunch.

The paseo is beautiful and is good for taking a coffee at Havana, but do not have lunch or dinner there. Restaurants there are like tourist traps, cheap but with low quality food.

A pedestrian street with shops and coffee shops where you can get from a sandwich to a pizza, coffee or beer and enjoy the place. Mendoza and this place have huge trees that invite you to relax watching beautiful old trees.

This walking street is a "Mendozinean Proud". You can walk, mainly during natural light hours, and find Coffee Bars, Restaurants, Shops for ladies an men.
During Spring and Summer one can sit outside in the shadow of very ancient trees and have a nice and pleasant time.
It goes from San Martin Street to the Independencia Square.
Its a MUST in Mendoza.
