If you are into architecture this is worth a stop. Be aware (especially if on a motorcycle) that the road into the place is all dirt and gravel (for a few miles). Your tour guide will lead you indoors and outdoors around the site while...More

We visited with friends for a birthday celebration and the birthday girl loved it which was really all that mattered. But as for coming here for any other reason or to simply visit again--no way! In the mid 70's when the vision was alive and...More

The tour is fascinating. This place is totally unique and you have to watch the video and take the tour to appreciate it. I'm used to being around ecology folks but for me this was a new spin on all of that by applying it...More

We choose this day trip after calling to verify that they had wheelchairs available and were wheelchair friendly. We would not have gone if we had known how un-wheelchair accessible the entire facility was! Once we parked, the lengthy wheelchair ramp was quite an effort...More

I've been visiting Arcosanti since the early 70's. Although the mission has changed somewhat, it's an interesting place. The tour is worth the $10 donation. You will learn all about the founder, the construction practices, the lifestyle and the bells. If inclined, you should pick...More

I really didn't know much about Arcosanti and was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the architecture, the concept, and learning of Soleri's vision. We went on a tour and it was very informative and enjoyable. The tour starts out with a movie intro and then...More

Loved to see the resulting buildings of the concepts with the vision of Paolo Soleri in Arcology (Architecture and Ecology). Very educational visit to show how people can live in tune with the ecology instead of in the city or in the suburbs. The place...More
