Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Camino de Altas Cumbres ( high summit road ) is so extraordinary that we have driven it twice on the same day, forth and back, just for the joy it brought to our senses !! The road is in very good condition, and you need to do it at a speed of 60 kms / hour in order to be safe at the many turns, and to enjoy the views. The road draws an 8 number on the hills, so you will see the valley below on your right for half of the journey, and suddenly the valley will switch to your left ! So you´ll be able to enjoy the different perspectives ! There are many " balconies " for one to stop and enjoy the views or take photos, and at some points there are simple cafes for a rest. We have driven along the whole road, starting at Mina Clavero on the west and finishing at Alta Gracia in 2 hours, going at 60 kms / hour, and at 80 where the road is low and straighter.

You go there in evenings to see the lights. We are not too sure if there is cheaper way of returning to your hotel at that time in evening

This is a frightening and an amazing road to do.... so many curves!!! breathtaking panoramic views and visiting different points along the way, the road goes up and down, curves will show you every time an incredible landscape and gorgeous view. More over, you can (with a little luck) see the Condor, the bigger and majestic bird all over the world

It's the second time I've done this route (this co-pilot lap). It is always a pleasure to admire the views, the changes in the landscape and the weather due to the altitude and passing clouds.
There are several paradores and those who have the time and desire be sure to visit El Condorito.
We had the company of several condors very close to the route gliding on the air currents.

on the way between Cordoba and Mina Clavero, a route with beautiful landscapes. There are viewpoints with beautiful views. On the way is the entrance to the Quebrada del Condorito National Park among many attractions. The route is in excellent condition, but depending on the weather, it is usually closed. On the way back we had to travel among the clouds, which made us take extreme precautions, but also enjoy the moment.
