The building and ground are nice, but the real value of visit likely comes with the guided tour. Costing around 1 USD (just one!), you get an hour-long tour with an enthusiastic guide (his English is good, but accented; don't be afraid to ask him to slow down) who explains everything in the building--the chapels, the libraries, the graduation room,... Very interesting place, it has a lot of history attached. It is a good idea to get a tour guide so you can benefit from the historical perspective. It is a pedestrian area full of young people since some of the buildings are part of a university. It also has nice shops and street handicrafts vendors

This is at the heart of the city (town) is a nice historical building and church and as I understand is the reason why the city of Alta Gracia exists, we didn't pay for the guided tour and I'm sure we missed a lot, since the furniture and personal belongings of the families that lived there are on display on... Tours in English at 10am and 5pm (winter). Only AR$10 for an hour long tour through the previous Jesuit church and part of the university. Explained the history of Cordoba, the Jesuit influence on the university. Able to view books from 100's of years ago, in the library, and maps through the ages. Interesting tour. Great value for money.

Walking around Córdoba Downtown is walking around history. This couple of blocks are what is left from the jesuit culture in this city. Through narrow stone streets and old constructions, in this walk, you can also take a look at the Cathedral, the Domestic Chapel that also belong to the Jesuits and the first University in the country.

We arrived fairly late, 5 pm I think, and a guided tour in English was about to start. We normally avoid tours, but this was a good way to get a bit more out of the museum and learn more about the whole Jesuit history in Córdoba. Our guide took us to the church, various parts of the museum (I... More

Definitely a large piece of Argentian or better yet South American, history literally written in the library that is being held in this museum. I would suggest to plan your visit during one of the free guided tours (English and Spanish): which I highly recommend in order to take away an enriched experience. The visits in the morning include the... More
