Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Located in the center of the city, in the main square. The huge stained glass windows were brought from France. The large Baccarat crystal chandelier is 100 years old and was originally located in the Hotel Bristol, one of the first hotels in the city. The jewel of the church is an anonymous replica of Michelangelo's Pieta at the right entrance of the cathedral.

Mar del Plata's cathedral may not be the best by international standards but it is worth visiting. Much bigger than the typical town church, in a gothic style.

can‘t compete with European cathedrals. It obviously is a bit „retro“. Not really worth looking at from inside.

Lovely Gothic style cathedral with wonderful stained glass. Unlike Italian churches the art is rather limited but overall it is beautiful.

It's a beautiful construction, but also very common. There are many better churches in Argentina, it's good only if you are tired of beaches!

Outside it was cleaner from graffiti than before. Sadly they put some kind of fence to protect it from vandals.
