The collection of fossils and skeletons is very good and the visit to the museum is an interesting one. The interiors are very pretty too. It's a bit of an old one, but still can entertain and educate.

To see all will take about 2/3 hours. Use an Universitary Guide, Also available normally at the entrance. If go with a Tour arrange before with the touring Company to find one before being in the place.-

This is a great museum to visit. Full of fossils of dinosaurs, beautiful park and location. A must see!

Booked a La Plata City Tour where we also went to the Museo. We had 30 minutes total to visit the Museum. I would've loved to see more traditional Argentinian things, instead there were stuffed animals. Not really my cup of tea but then again...More

Highly recommended museum. We spend a few hours here and the time just flew by. There are a lot of skeletons both from animals you can find today, but also plenty of impressive prehistoric animals. A nice collection of rocks and pre-Columbian artifacts tops it...More
