Yes. It's just another Chinatown, but it's ours!. The mix between porteños and chinese people makes these neighborhood a little bizarre. You must go to Barrancas de Belgrano (by train or bus), walk 30 metres and you will see the train station in front of...More

We were surprised that Chinatown in Buenos Aires was not more substantive. Aside from the traditional elements of any Chinatown around the world, there was not much unique. It seemed that most of the people were just shopping for various asian trinket bargains, there to...More

Chinatown is always crowded during weekends, it's hard to park but really worth the visit. There are bunch of Chinese and Japanese food, nice supermarkets and lots of stores that sell cheap stuff. It's a good plan for Sundays and for free... Last but not...More

One of our NY friends wanted to see it, so we did. It really did give us an "authentic" feel. Yes, there were a fair mount of Chinese characters on walls and shop windows and the "traditional' Chinese arch, but it mist character. The exception...More

This location has an Asian style arch and that's all. Nothing else is China-town about it, no shops, restaurants, Chinese-looking people, nothing else. Plus it's very far from all other attractions. Absolutely a waste of time and cab money in my opinion.

Been to a few Chinatowns around the world but this one is quite dull. There is not much to see except for maybe the gate with the lion dogs but they are a bit shabby. Skip it

Chinatown, in Belgrano neighbourhood, is the best option if you need ingredients that are difficult to find in your local shops. You can even get kale!!! It's located near the tube, train station and there are several buses that will leave you right there. Supermarkets...More

If you want Chinese food, you need to come here. Not hard to find. Take the train from Retiro station and get off Belgrano China, there it is with the Chinese sign next to the track. Its small but lots of stores, mini markets and...More

Great for weekend walking or food shopping. There are only 2 or 3 streets but there are some good authentic restaurants amid the touristy shops but you can seek them out by walking on the side streets. Great Murals, street performers on weekends and if...More

Belgrano
As one of the main commercial hubs of Buenos Aires,
Belgrano has something for everyone. The myriad of
shop windows in Cabildo Ave. will draw you in, but it
is Chinatown — an area of no more than two square
blocks — which will keep you hooked. Crowned by an
ornate arch marking its entrance and filled with small
stores packed to the brim, it is a place where colour
and scent emanate from every corner, particularly
