Neighbourhood: Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

First of all, it is highly overpriced. The tables situated not convenient, so you have trouble to see the dancers on the stage. The food is not just bad - it is impossible to eat. The skill of dancers is fantastic, but to the point, where dance became acrobatics. Tango in Borges center is much better!

Exceeded my expectations (a rare thing!). With so many shows to choose from I felt overwhelmed making a choice. I liked the look of the theatre and it claimed to be traditional, and came with a playful taster tango session and 3 course meal (wine included). The dancing was exquisite, slick and sexy with varied choreography, wonderful costumes and some jaw dropping lifts and turns. The singers and musicians were also top class and masterful. I'm a commited dance fan and this is some of the best I've seen. Dinner and service was decent and the surroundings elegant. The package we got was £164 for two of us which seems extremely good value.

We booked online in advance for lesson, dinner, show. It was good value for the experience. The venue is fantastic, off Florida, and down stairs to underground old theatre from the tango era. Sure the dance class was ho-hum but with good intentions, the meal was good, and any additional drinks a dash pricey, the singing a little cheezy and the male singer hogging the limelight a little more than he needed...but the dancing was fantastic and engrossing. That's what we came to see. Included in price was pick up and drop off hotel transfers which was great. All in all, amazing night of Tango in Buenos Aires!!

We booked this online at home in the UK. They were very quick in confirming the booking. We were picked up on time from our hotel and once checked in at the Teatro shown our seats. The tango lesson was next which was great fun. A very good three course meal followed with choices of courses and plenty of wine and water, all served by a very friendly helpful waitress. After which we settled back in our seats to watch a fabulous show. The dancing was fantastic we really enjoyed it. Once it was all over we were taken back to our hotel.
The evening was an amazing end to our all too brief stay in Buenos Aires

The show itself was amazing and I loved it so much. The dinner and service was mediocre and disappointing. If you are deciding if you should include dinner I would not recommend it. You can get a way better meal nearby. That being said, it is still worth it to go for the show. Very entertaining and talented set of performers. I loved it.

Booked tickets in advance online. The venue is nice, although tucked down a side passage off Florida. The show was good and dancing great. I am glad we did not have a meal here as the place sea very touristy and. drinks expensive

All the times that I back to Buenos Aires I like to visit a "Tango House" - the most famous is of course Senõr Tango , the most beautiful (facility) perhaps is Madero Tango, the most exclusive is Rojo Tango - but this one - worth the value easy - we take a promo and paid 360 pesos (just the show) and I could say that the place is awesome, the dancers amazing, music unforgettable and was at Calle Florida (walking distance from a lot of hotels) - I recommend to all !!!!

Very fun and beautiful show. My family and I took the tango classes. It was very funny and entertaining. Teachers were friendly and dedicated to help everyone learn the tango steps. The entire service was amazing. The show was beautiful. Food was great. We had a very very good time. I definitely recommend it.

Carlos Garel is the one all hotel concierges recommend, but I had seen it before so wanted to try a different show.
Had seen the reviews and they were encouraging. Until 30th March their website advertised a special promotional Rate of 270 pesos for the show only. This is without anything- make your own way there and if you want a drink pay inflated prices (40 pesos for a half litre sparkling water). However, if you know this in advance it is a bargain, as the normal show only price only has one alcoholic and one non alcoholic drink included.
The one disadvantage is that non VIP means you sit in the main floor area where you actually cannot see the dancers feet properly as the stage is at table level. But if that doesn't bother you .....
The dancing is of excellent quality, the singers very charasmatic and the orchestra good. Not all dances used the orchestra though. Shame.
Due to the small stage size there were less group dances, but that is personal taste.
The show started at 10:15. you only need to turn up at 9:45 pm, but some came later. Warning, cash only but do accept foreign currency.
All in all good value for money at the promo rate.

I have never been to a Tango show before, so we just chose one of the more affordable options. This Tango show was fantastic, and the accompanying band was awesome, had a great night. Food was good, 3 courses, with wine and soft drinks included in the price. Had a absolutely great time and can highly recommend.
