About
Vamos Spanish Academy is a well-rounded Spanish language school perfectly located between the two most dynamic neighborhoods in Buenos Aires, Recoleta and Downtown financial district and with schools in Toronto, Santiago Chile, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Colombia, Mexico and Peru. Our small intensive group classes and our own customized materials allow students to truly practice and learn in a clear, relevant and effective way. The many activities and workshops take you outside the classrooms and live the language! The school is also very eco-friendly and runs various donation initiatives so students can participate and help make a difference while learning Spanish and traveling in Argentina.

Vamos provides an exceptional opportunity to rekindle your love for Spanish and reacquaint yourself with the language. As someone who had not spoken Spanish fluently in over 15 years, I enrolled in their 4-week program and it was an absolutely delightful experience. My instructors, Eugenia, Miguel, and Melanie, were all fantastic and had distinct teaching styles. Eugenia's group class provided an excellent balance of grammar and conversation, while Miguel and Melanie's private lessons were less structured and catered more to conversation. The teachers were attentive to our preferences and needs, and I felt that I was in good hands.
In addition to the excellent instructors, the administrators at Vamos were equally exceptional. Derek and Rosi were warm and welcoming, always ready to provide guidance and support beyond just language instruction. From suggesting the best places to get a juicy parilla to where to purchase a local SIM card, they were always eager to help. Vamos also organized fun activities for students, such as tango lessons, wine tastings, and city excursions. I regret not taking part in these events, but I heard from other students that they were thoroughly enjoyable.
Overall, my experience at Vamos was outstanding. I not only improved my language skills but also made new friends and had a great time. I highly recommend Vamos to anyone looking to learn or improve their Spanish in Buenos Aires. Thank you, Vamos, for such a remarkable experience!

I took private and group lessons, along with my husband, over the course of two weeks when we were in Buenos Aires. Both types of lessons were great. We were placed appropriately with others in the same ability range and we had bright, charming instructors who knew a lot about teaching as well as Spanish language, grammar, and culture. The staff was always helpful and friendly, both before we arrived in Argentina and after we started classes. I learned so much and feel much more confident in my Spanish speaking abilities. I highly recommend Vamos Academy to those wishing to learn or improve their Spanish.

Took a week long intro (Level 1) Spanish class at Vamos from 1/6-10. Overall a great experience. Easy to book, friendly staff, small class (3-4 people). Teacher was great, really helpful and accommodating to our group and the various questions we asked. School also organized various activities throughout the week (Mate drinking, Tango class, Mundo Lingo, Movie Day, etc.). Those I that I attended ended up being quite fun.
Would highly recommend for anyone hoping to either learn or improve their Spanish whilst in Buenos Aires regardless of ability level or age.

I had a fantastic time at Vamos Academy, but there were a few bumps in the road. The classes started about 10 minutes late two days in a row, which was a bit frustrating at first. However, I raised the issue with Sofia, the program advisor, and she was very proactive in addressing the problem. It turned out that the teacher was waiting for two students who were consistently late, and this was causing the delay. Once this was identified, the school started the class without waiting for the two latecomers, and everything ran smoothly from then on. It’s great to see that the school takes feedback seriously and is always looking for ways to improve.Aside from the minor hiccup, the location of the school was perfect. It’s situated in the safe and upscale neighborhood of Recoleta, with lots of buses and several subway lines all within a block or two of the school. Plus, Palermo, where you can find some of the city’s best restaurants, is only a 10-minute drive away.One of the highlights of my experience at Vamos Academy was the cultural activities organized by the school. These events were a great opportunity to meet other students and explore different parts of the city. We visited places like Tigre, San Telmo, and even San Antonio de Arecco, a charming town in the Buenos Aires province. I got to experience the vibrant culture and history of Argentina firsthand, and it was truly unforgettable.Lastly, I want to give a big shoutout to AnalÃa and Noelia for all their attention, dedication, and love. They went above and beyond to make sure that my experience at Vamos Academy was nothing short of amazing. Their passion for teaching and their commitment to their students is truly inspiring, and I feel grateful to have had them as my teachers.

Vamos Academy is a great place for International travelers and locals alike. The Academy offers courses in different languages and for all levels of proficiency. Sol and the Vamos staff are both helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and offers extracurricular activities around the city of Buenos Aires.

I've been studying at VaMoS Academy for 2 months now, and I must say that choosing this school has been the perfect decision for improving my Spanish and immersing myself in Argentine culture. The staff, students, and teachers are all incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home.
The Spanish classes are well-structured and comprehensive, and the school provides a beautiful student area where you can grab coffee, water, snacks, or simply practice your Spanish with fellow students after or before class, or during breaks. The social activities offered by the school are plentiful, making it easy to meet new and interesting people from all over the world and connect with the real Argentina.
A special shoutout to my teacher Sofia, Juan, and Ana, and of course, everyone else I see every day but haven't had the pleasure of meeting in person yet. Your positivity is truly inspiring, and I couldn't have asked for a better learning environment to improve my Spanish in such a short timeframe.
I will definitely be back anytime I am in Buenos Aires. Mil gracias to everyone at Vamos a Academy!

I am thoroughly enjoying my time at Vamos Academy! The Spanish classes are fantastic, and I am learning a lot while also having a great time at all of their events. The staff has been incredibly helpful with getting me settled in Buenos Aires, and Pedro in particular has been checking in with me regularly to ensure I am having a positive experience. He has also given me some fantastic advice on navigating the city, which I have found extremely helpful.
I highly recommend vamos Academy to anyone looking to improve their Spanish while having a great time in Buenos Aires. Thank you to everyone at the school for making my experience so memorable and enjoyable!

We spent two weeks at Vamos Spanish Academy, with a combination of group and private lessons. The experience was fantastic. Starting with the booking process before we arrived, the student administrator/advisor, Derek, was incredibly helpful and efficient; the Academic Director, Rafael was very attentive and responsive to our needs and requests and the teaching staff, Lucia-Veronica, Jessica and Mariano, were wonderful. Being academics ourselves, we are very aware of what a well-planned class and excellent teaching look like and our classes could not be faulted! Every day was a new and exciting experience which improved our Spanish enormously and also taught us a lot about Argentinian culture and history. We recommend Vamos most highly.

Originally I signed up for tango classes but after a few weeks at the school I ended up enrolling in Spanish classes too. The school is very professional brand new facility and comfortable classrooms. My teacher Agustina not only she was very friendly but also patient and knowledgeable. She studied at the University of Buenos Aires and had a master in languages. Most teachers at the school seemed highly qualified honestly. I don't normally write reviews but felt I wanted to share my experience.
