The class takes place in Norma's home which has beautiful views of the city and is really spacious. Norma makes the class interactive and fun. We made 3 dishes and then ate our food with wine and tea tasting. I'd highly recommend the class - Norma is super professional in the booking process. A great addition to your BA itinerary.

Fabulous cooking class with Norma!!!! Everything was organized for us to start cooking and baking. We had plenty of time to eat everything we made with wine. Norma was interesting and FUN! Highly recommend this cooking class!

This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We learned how to make some traditional foods. We all participated in the preparation of lunch and were rewarded with having made a excellent meal for ourselves. Norma is an excellent teacher and hostess, making everyone feel welcome.

This was a fun way to spend a few hours with other travelers. We made some delicious food that's relatively easy to make. This is also one of the rare opportunities to try mate, the national drink (I believe) since it's normally served at homes and not usually available in restaurants. A bonus is that the view is absolutely beautiful,... More

Three friends and I enjoyed the class with Norma. We all cook lots so I would have to describe it as more an 'experience' class than a cooking class. It was a little disappointing that some key ingredients are store bought and/or prepped before arrival and this was easily our most expensive activity in BA. Despite that, we had lots... More

Super organization and overall so tasty. Also information was given about local habits and the way of argentinian living. Can be absolutely highly recommended.

I had a great time cooking with Norma! She was great with registering for the class and sent us clear instructions to the class prior to attending - including the cookbook. During the class, we were able to ask plenty of questions, taste some outstanding food, and enjoy the conversation with the 2 other guests in the class. Norma was... More

This class was so great! Norma is the best teacher and this was hands down the most flavorful food I have tried in Argentina. She walks you through everything step by step and provides a copy of all the recipes (and some extras) to all students. I highly recommend regardless of your cooking skills! It was a great opportunity to... More

This cooking class is a MUST DO. As a self-proclaimed lover of food and culture, I spent a lot of time searching for the best Argentine cooking class to take. Norma's laid-back hospitality, but incredibly knowledgeable background of cuisine made this class an extremely enjoyable and educational opportunity. As a class, we shared laughs, wine, empanadas and a wonderful afternoon... More

Had a great time cooking with Norma. She welcomed us in and we started right in prepping and cooking. What a great lunch we made for ourselves along with a couple of Argentina wines. Remember to pinch and twist close the empanadas!

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
