Top ways to experience Rosedal De Palermo
The area
Neighbourhood: Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

The thousands of roses in this park are beautiful and the landscaping is welcoming and interesting. We were there on a January morning and it was sweltering. Unfortunately, there is hardly any shade and nowhere to sit. A late afternoon visit would be better if you're there in the summer.

We managed to see the Rosedal park while in Buenos Aires, but not until the rain cleared up. The park completely shuts down even after a light shower. It is a nicely maintained green space with many picturesque areas. Many sculptures and busts of artists and other luminaries. Went to the andalusíes fountain which was pretty run down. All in all it is a nice place to stroll and take photos for about 45 minutes.

Located inside Bosques de Palermo, it's a gated area with roses and well kept green areas.
It's very peacefull and a perfect place for some relaxing time.
I imagine this place would be amazing in the autum.
There are seats everywhere so you can really take your time and enjoy the place.
Totally recommend it.

Last year, I sent a picture of Rosedal de Palermo to my best friend, asking her if she´d like to go with me the next day, and for my surprise she was agree. We got up very early and had a heavy trip. But when we arrived, we saw the most beutiful place we had ever seen. We had never seen lot of roses before, so we took a lot of pictures around the roses and spent much time just sitting there, with mate and some cookies.

The Rosedal was pretty. But, the problem is that there is no shade at all in this area. A hat and sunglasses are really not enough in warm weather. This is a nice excursion for when temperatures are cooler. I would recommend this only if you have already seen a lot of Buenos Aires and want to do do something different.

It is always a wonderful place, and a must-see in spring. The park, the roses, the smell. No wonder they choose it to celebrate weddings in the pergola on the shores of the lake. We witnessed two weddings on a day of full sun. Very good care.

It’s just beautiful. Free to public. Acres of roses. Third week of April in bloom. Lake with paddle boats, amphitheater for performances. Many benches for just passing time. Guide had dropped us off. We easily got a cab back to hotel. It like so much of BA is tranquil and inviting.

Lots of colours, cool to walk this beautiful park (one of the nicest ones in Buenos aires. A lovely Japanese garden nearby but that has small entrance fee. We really enjoyed it around here.

I went just a few hours before leaving Buenos Aires, that is, I was in a bit of a rush, but when I got there, I found the place very relaxing. As it was winter, I hardly saw any flowers, but the green of the grass looks like something out of a movie. There is a lake with teals (?) and pedal boats, and several places to sit and enjoy the landscape.

Lovely park with beautful flowers - nicely landscaped. The lushness of the flowers does depend on the season though.
I specifically enjoyed walking through the park and looking at the statues honouring literary figures from around the world.

Quando fui no mês de julho, tinha rosas sim. Creio que o ano inteiro as rosas florescem. Porém na primavera elas florescem bem mais.
