Old city is the place to live if you are in Antakya. It has this amazing antique feel to it, narrow alleys, cobbled paths and at night its even more pretty. You can find lots of bars, hotels n restaurants here. Rest of the Antakya...More

I spend 3 years in this town. Such peace and tranquility. This is like a second home to me. There is not a single day borring with this place....the people, the food...places to visit....everything fantastic

There is so much to see here: amazing (hidden) restaurants, winding and narrow streets, old unique buildings (unlike any others in Turkey), silk shops, and a mosaic of religions and cultures. Konak and Ala are particularly delicious restaurants. Try some kunefe and baklava as well!...More

We weren't really quite sure what to expect when we visited friends who live in Antakya but if you have the opportunity go, it's a beautiful city, so much to see and such lovely people live there

Old Antakya beautiful quiet place! Antakya was for centuries one of the largest cities in the Roman Empire. Today here christians , muslims and other confesions live together in armony. I will return soon !
