Massive structure with so much history. We were lost here but so much to see. Read a bit about the history of the Templars in Portugal before your visit.

A highlight of our exploration of central Portugal. A wonderful 16 sided church with glorious colours. Beautiful stone carving and sumptuous azulejos (decorative tiles). Interesting monks' cell.
