Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ponte de Dom Manuel A.K.A. Ponte Velha is located near the north-east corner of Old Town Tomar (and one of the main one-way entry ways to Old Town from New Town) . While walking on top of it , you may not be able to appreciate its full beauty , so cross over to the adjacent Mouchao Park and/or walk to the next Ponte Nova bridge and use your cameras there .

The bridge is known locally as Ponte Velha, Old Bridge, and if you ask a local where Ponte de Dom Manuel is, they probably wouldn't know it by that name. It's an attractive bridge, with a wide pedestrian footpath. The river it crosses is the Nabão River, and there are unimpeded views of the river from both sides of the bridge. If you enter the old town from the east, you will almost certainly cross over the bridge. Vehicle traffic is permitted from east to west over it, but traffic is not heavy.

Tours are given so you can easily learn about the Marques did. The concept of rooms that are connected by corridors . The concept of having a true dining room was new.

The Bridge of Dom Manuel, which cross the river Nabao, is great example of a Medieval bridge, with its beautiful arches. A very romantic Bridge.

Along our walk through the town of Tomar, we encountered the Bridge of Dom Manuel which crossed the River Nabao. Along the way you pass along buildings of the town and some pretty spectacular park areas, which again provide great settings for photographs. The bridge has especially handsome curved Romanesque like arches, which adds to its appeal.

There is a very nice park along the river, good for picnics and only a two min walk to the main square. You can see the bridge from the park

Ancient city bridge that crosses the river, perfect for taking photos and enjoying the view of the water park and part of the town, to be explored on foot and calmly.
