Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lotus flowers in bloom and very colourful The Lagoon is an attractive feature of the village, just a shame that the surrounds are unkempt and decrepit. Worth stopping to view and a couple of photos if passing.

Worth a short visit! You can walk around the lake in 10 mins plus time you need to take photoes.
Check at what time lotus flower closes its buds! We came at 18:00 and they were «sleeping».

Bonus: You can find some cafees& bars nearby, souvenir shops, local clothes shops, sim-cards, mini markets and padi diving center. 👍🏻

I stumbled upon this beautiful lotus filled lagoon while walking to town. The flowers are spectacular but the best time to view it is July, I think? It is not super maintained so a little rough around the edges. There is an ashram on one side that holds regular yoga classes too. Also a couple of guys do boat tours to the Island from there but go early to experience calm water. You can visit this place in under an hour.

I am being generous with 4 stars but it is better than Average.
We did enjoy having a walk around this area but it is a shame about the rubbish.

I gave 4 stars because the flowers were blooming. No flowers no real attraction. Still, it is an easy walk around the perimeter which with an amble stroll should take around 20 minutes. Glad I was here with many flowers showing their beauty each day.

Well, you can walk around this lagoon. That breaks up the monotony of walking up and down the road , I guess. Maybe it looks nicer when the lotuses are blooming.

I saw a lizard.

As I really like lotus flowers, this was great to see. Went past in full bloom, it was stunning. Also viewed the lagoon as the flowers were about to bud and it was great to see so many plants about to flower.

Not well maintained. If cleaned regularly it wols be a very beautiful plave for photoshots. In the everning so many locals take a bath n wash their clothes by the end of this lagoon, next to the beach because the running water from the hill running below the lagoon to the beach is so clear n clean.

This is not a big spot. You will see people but the pathway is big enough to share.

Locals swim and fish in a spot close to the ocean where the lagoon drains.

You can site and look at the ocean and islands or the lagoon at sun rise or sun set.
