The wine farm is beautiful. We found the wines not so great and the hostess wasn’t very attentive to the needs of the guests. Although the R65 special for the tasting did include a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon.

We stopped for a light, late lunch of oysters and sparkling wine. My wife declared the West Coast oysters, “The best I’ve ever had!”. And, the glasses of Kaapse Vonkel sparkling wines ( one brut and one brut rose) were perfect accompaniments.
