My husband and I were lucky enough to have booked a picnic at Warwick Wine Estate last Monday. I was not feeling great and they set me up right away with the blankets and large cushions in our picnic area so I could relax and enjoy the beautiful grounds while my husband went in and started with a tasting. He... More

I must say the place beautiful and clean, but there are lots of bees. Myself and my 1 year old baby got bitten by a bee. It was terrible. My 1 year old got bitten in his tongue it was so painful it was swollen. My poor boy was screaming. I really think they must do something about the bees

We went there as a group, sharing 7 gourmet picnic baskets und two tables and blankets set for us at one of their picnic "pods". The gourmet picnic is absolutely divine. What absolutely spoilt the experience were the bees that arrived shortly after we opened the baskets, attracted by the "ponies onion marmalade". Now, whilst Warwick can't do anything about... More

We had booked a spot on the lawn for a picnic and i must say, this was the most divine picnic basket i have ever had. The olive bread and the range of cheese and chutneys were so delicious. I would highly recommend coming to Warwick Estate for a lunch time picnic. We then went for a vineyard safari which... More

We went here on an afternoon and tasted 6 different delicious wines. Tip: ask for a cheese platter, this helps to neutralise the taste in between the different kinds of wines! This cheese platter was also amazing and almost a dinner for two. Which is also great is that you don't pay for the tasting itself if you buy one... More

This was an interesting presentation of wine information in common with The Big 5 animals of South Africa. The wines are tasty and the location and scenery of this winery was spectacular! It reminds me of Napa Valley in California. Be sure and experience this when visiting the Wineland in Stellenbosch, South Africa!

We tried last minute to book wine safari at Waterford but they had no seats left so our concierge recommended Warwick, we are so pleased he made this recommendation. He also suggested we have a picnic? But we thought no as we were dining at 96 winery road that evening. It took less than 5 minutes from arriving to decide... More

Your enter along a cobbled road to the original house dated 1771. The picnic was varied and lovely. You won't be hungry or disappointed. The wine washes down nicely and the setting with the lawn and lake is restful. Great jungle gym and plenty of space for the kids. Topped off by attentive service.

I have often heard people talking highly about Warwick and recently we finally managed to go there with friends. We booked in advance (recommended) one of the private booths (min. of 4 people). The Picnic basket is preset and you do not really chose what is in there. This was perfectly ok for 3 out of 4 people who were... More

Very neat and well laid out. Looks like a really good place to take the whole family. Rolling lawns for a picnic, jungle gym for the kids, and of course wine tasting for the adults
