A trip back in time and a lovely walk - the store is a time capsule going from the present back to Victorian times - suggest that possibly a guided walking tour might have been more informative than our guide book .

If it wasnt for the traffic it would have been easy to believe its a small town. I love the variety this street offers. Little bookshops, coffee shops... small restaurants. Variety of clothing shops. The architecture aesthetic is very pleasing... i park a few hundred...More

Dorp Street is buzzing. It’s the Main Street and has a plethora of cafes, restaurants and shops. It’s quaint and touristy. Parking difficult.

The street has been well maintained to view the early Dutch architecture. Shops and food outlets good, Oom Samie se Winkel (Uncle Samie's shop) is definately worth a visit, there can't be much the don't sell. Parking an issue, try side streets.

Stellenbosch's Dorp street and botanical gardens were a stop not to be missed while sightseeing in the Western Cape. Shops are varied, but our Sunday experience was marred by parking "helpers" begging for money or running the old insurance game promise of looking after your...More

This street together with others in close proximity add to the charm of Stellenbosch. Shady oak trees line the street and coffee shops, small arcades, curio shops and elegant clothing stores make wandering along this street most entertaining. Some of the buildings boast beautiful cape...More
