Take a lovely walk through the botanical gardens in the middle of Stellenbosch. The Gardens are well kept with different sections of interesting combinations. Lovely shop on the premises and a small restauratn to have a bite to eat.

I love this place! It is very small, but choc-a-block full of wonderful plants and wee, quiet nooks and crannies that are just glorious for a chill out in the sun or to study if you're a student!

Not very helpful staff at all, very late and unobservant but a lovely setting to sit and enjoy the garden and have tea in some peace and quite .

Often weddings are photographed there but you will have to check the charges with their offices. I doubt it will be free

Good day. Unfortunately we do not allow picnics in the garden. Photography is allowed but prior permission is required for any commercial photo shoots.

What is the best, safest, quickest way to get to the gardens from Cape Town? I do not particularly want to do a tour to Stellenbosch as these seem to be mainly vineyard based.
