An informative visit led by an excellent guide, Izak, who was happy to converse with guests in their own language. Very happy to know that they have the best interest of the birds in mind.

We were on a tour of South Africa and found out a lot about the ostrich as well as seeing them close up. Interacting with them was fun, especially feeding them and watching members of our tour group ride them. The ostrich kebab in the restaurant was delicious and there was a chicken alternative for those who couldn't bare to... More

We went on the tour here and it started off being very informative, with some information and facts about ostriches, their feeding habits and breeding (though the multiple sexist jokes could've been done without). There were also some opportunities to have photos taken with the ostriches, which was harmless and fun if you enjoy that, as they were simply fed... More

... even that they are not really made for riding. The Cango Ostrich Farm actually is a nice place to visit. You will learn a lot about ostriches and ostrich farming. However, riding ostriches seems to be something that ostriches are not made for and I cannot really say that I liked or enjoyed the whole riding stuff. I would... More

We were lucky to arrive just in time to go on the last tour at 4.15 pm and had so much fun interacting closely with the ostriches. We learned interesting facts about the animals and got to take lots of photos - hugging an ostrich, feeding them and getting a neck massage ;-) It was a perfect end to our... More

We actually went there to look for ostrich leather items, however, the shop was somewhat disappointing. We stayed for lunch and were amazed by the excellent food. We had the ostrich platter for two and did not want to finish. The meat was succulent and tender, simply delicious!

Our guide for the day was well conversant with all the facts around ostriches and was able to present it in such a manner that one can only smile. We visited this farm in mid-December and needless to say this was definitely not the coolest day around.

Our visit to the farm was both fun and interesting. We learnt so much and the information was put across in a fun and joking way.

I came here on as part of a tour and I loved it. It was very informative, very interactive and the food in the cafe was amazing. I had ostrich salad and the meat was cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious. I would definitely return and would recommend it to anyone! I didn't ride the ostriches but I'm... More
