Visiting this place is fun and informative. I wasn't sure I'd take to it but I did, including the "hug" from the ostrich. From history of the ostrich moguls to watching a chick cracking its way out of its shell, and learning about the birds...More

A really good education into the world of ostrich. A good tour learning about these big birds and seeing them at close quarters. After the tour we had a lovely lunch on site. Yes - ostrich kebabs !

We loved the tours here. Not only did they include Ostrich ranching history, but included interactive Osterich feeding, "massages" and displays.

Cannot recommend Cango Ostrich Farm enough! Our tour guide was super informative and funny, the ostriches were so adorable and the farm seems to treat their animals well! They don’t Ostrich race any more as it’s quite cruel on the animals and actually banned by...More

The interactive nature of this Ostrich farm makes it a good place to take the kids (and adults) to learn more about the Ostriches and its influence in Oudtshoorn. The guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining, making sure the kids got a personalised experience during...More

Probably fine as these places go and staff try to make the best of it but it really is a bit duff and a bit sad. Having seen wild Ostrich running wild in De Hoop, seeing them penned up and pecking each other was not...More

Know more about this big bird, not too smart but very loyal... Very interesting visit, starting with a bit of theory and then stand only a few cm from an ostrich. After the visit enjoy the lovely ostrich souvenir shop: cheaper than duty free stores...More
