Though damaged through shortsighted tourism schemes in the 1960s, these caves are still worth a visit for their eerie dark tunnels and stunning limestone formations.

We did the adventure tour which was a fun way to experience the caves. There are some tight areas but no risk of getting stuck. If you're up for a different way to explore caves this is perfect for both adults and kids!

Worth pre booking your 1 hours slot , as there are limited no's on the timed walk rounds. Recommend the morning over the afternoons, as it tends to get busy late afternoons. Once your in, walking round it's amazing, inspiring, to see the selection of...More

The caves are an incredible example of nature at its finest. Our guide was a lovely lady who explained everything very well with a good sense of humour. She also demonstrated the incredible acoustics in the cave by singing the South African national anthem which...More

Gobsmackingly stunning! You will be in the presence of incredible sculptures that nature herself has created over a Millenia. Make sure you take the extended tour. A truly unexpected delight. Don’t bother eating here, take a trip to Prince Albert instead. It’s worth the trip.

Amazing place both as a sensorial experience and its history. A must do. Our Guide knew all there's to know about this spectacular piece of history. Try and get the first tour in the morning. That way you'll get to "open" the cave. Our 5...More

Our guide was really personable and clever, she made it very interesting and I would recommend this to anyone who has never seen anything like this but be mindful there is a good deal of stairs of course.

There are two tours to choose from. The basic tour is very accessible, but you need sensible footwear. The adventure tour is for fit agile, possibly experienced, cavers. It's a fantastic cave with excellent guide.

It all depends which tour you take. I took the standard tour which lasts an hour. If you want to go deeper into the caves and crawl around then those take up to 3 or 4 hours. There is a short film which you can watch before... More
