The falls were recommended to us by others and are located on the Swartberg pass circle close to Meiringspoort and De Rust. It's a 200 metre walk up steps and slopes, which is trying in the sun at the end of the day. But you...More

We were the first visitors on site. The place was very peaceful and the waterfall is magnificent. If you want to make good pictures you have to be there on opening time, before the sun stands above the rocks.

Fantastic scenery and pathways to get to these falls. Water pouring down year in year out....non-stop. The road leading up to the parking area could do with some repair. Careful when driving in

What can I say about the waterfall initially it's great. That said it is nice place to just sit there and relax. The water itself is really nice we filled a bottle to drink it really recommended!

This waterfall seems quite a way away from anything and I was honestly quite surprised by the size of it when we finally got there. There's a few kms of gravel roads although our rental VW Polo was adequate. Then there's a 300m walk which...More

Yes, I would definitely recommend this wonderful little hike to a beautiful location tucked away just outside of Oudtshoorn. It is a fairly cheap admission (gates open at 09h00) The picnic spots are also advertised but the picnic area is terribly run down. It is...More
