The Dunes Racing Stables I couldn't resist booking a ride on this fantastic and long beach. The rides horses are all retired race horses, so believe me, these are not dobbins! We walk/jog/trot for approximately 1 hour 20 minutes down the beach, occasional splashes in...More

I cannot believe how affordable this experience was! It costs way more to ride here in Florida at a regular place, forget riding on the beach! We rode at the end of the day to see the sunset on the beach. Once in a lifetime...More

I've been riding at The Dunes stables for years and I can understand many of the comments about it being a bit slack. Mike the owner and racing trainer is the most laid back dude and his stables reflects his personality! Yeah you can ride...More

Peaceful place and spectacular beach view. I think it fits more for couples (maybe families), it's not for a group of friends who are looking for something exciting. Our horses looked desperate and tired. The different was quite obvious between our unhappy horses and the...More

Hi Can anyone tell me if a teenager of 14 years who has never ever ridden a horse in her life would be able to do this ride, as I would love to be able to do a canter along the beach but not sure if my daughter will manage. Would hate for her to fall off or hurt herself as I would never be able to forgive myself Thanks Leanne

Hi Leanne, for safety sake, horse rides always have to go at the pace of the weakest rider. Your daughter will be fine but if you try and canter off her horse will follow and she may fall off! At the end of the ride you could... More
