The surrounding, its like you not in South Africa, nice place to unwind, relax and feel yourself. Our apartment was very neat 3 bedroom with heated towels. There was basically no need to drive every place we needed was walking distance away.
The water front in this town is small but very nice has every thing you could want nice places to eat and the locals are friendly and helpful.
But since my visit the A.N.C has a new moto kill all white's so be careful

I spent 3 days in Knysna and enjoyed the Waterfront area. It is lovely to take a stroll in this area. There is a great choice of restaurants and excellent food. There are several shops to browse while in the area.
Knysna Waterfront has everything a traveller needs. Restaurants, cafes, shops, hotels, tours, and a lovely view of the marina.
