Experience the amazing views and the beauty of nature. The road has been tarred which makes travelling a pleasure. See the sunrise with a cup of coffee and a rusk or take a picnic basket with.

I passed the viewpoint while I did the Prince Alfred Pass. What a surprise! Bring your picknick and drinks, a book or a game and enjoy the view. Don't miss it while your doing the Prince Alfred Pass.

Firstly the drive to the top of the view point is awesome, though I'd only attempt it in a 4WD! Once at the top you have the most stunning views of the area, well worth the drive!

You can see forever once you reach the point on top. Road is too bad to use anything other than a 4x4. It is worth the bumpy road. Glad we stopped here for a coffee break on our way to The Baviaanskloof.

lovely view point but a bit daunting if you don't have a 4x4. However if you make it up there it's worth the trip.

Amazing 360 degree views from this beautiful viewpoint! We have tried to go before in a car but couldn't get up the steep road, so best to go in a bakkie or 4x4. There is also a Geo-cache there for those who know what that is...

360 degree views - it is awesome. Make sure your car can get up the steep rocky hill, but it is definitely worth it.

A 4x4 is recommended (or a vehicle with good ground clearance), however we managed with our sedan vehicle and a few screams:) The road going up is meant for 1 vehicle at a time so it is advisable to check the self issue passes at the bottom of the road to see if other vehicles are utilizing the road. preferable to have a 4X4 to get to the top but worth it. On a clear day, you have a fantastic view from Plett to Knysna and the mountains behind.
