We decided to do the 3km walk which took us approximately an hour, walking slowly. Fairly flat and not too steep at times, so you do not need to be super fit. You literally walk in the forest, but the route is clearly marked and the paths are not dense at all. Wear proper shoes as there are tree stumps... More

We took the 3km walk and it took us about 50 mins. It was beautiful, the scenery is stunning. The walk gets a little steep every now and then so you need to be a little fit but it is manageable. The small walk is perfect for a little stroll in the forest if you don't want to spend too... More

Kringe in die Bos was one of our prescribed books in high school,so while in Knysna we had to do the Circles in the Forest walk. There are 2 routes to choose from,a 3km and a 9 km. We did the 9km route and it was easy to moderate. There is a beautiful pool at the half point which is a great... More

Very relaxing to walk in the forest. Trees and smell of fresh wood all around you. Tranquil. Felt recharged. Awesome walk.

We choose to do the easy Jubilee Walk first; easy apart from the stream crossings which my wife found more difficult. Then moved on to the Circles… and headed steeply downhill on well tended pathways. At the lowest point we felt this too to be easy but the climb back up was continuous and got the heart-rate pulsing twice as... More

This may only be worth a visit if you are South African or local!! After seeing TripAdvisor and wanting a relaxing walk in the woods we headed here for the afternoon. On arriving and filling in the form at the entrance gate I was surprised that the charge was nearly x3 times more expensive per person than advertised on here... More

One of the best places to go with friends or family. I used to go do the Jubilee creek hike with my father quite often and one day we stumbled upon the Circle in the Forest hike. Not too extensive and loads of fun!! One of my fondest memories.

Lots of different hikes to do for a quick hike and if you want to take a whole day. We did the jubilee creek hike of 3.6 km linear. It was not extremely challenging and can done quickly. It was nice to zigzag through the river and a reward to swim in the creek! We are coming back for the... More
