We spent a lovely morning on Buffalo Bay, walking along the pristine sands watching the surfers and then catching up with drinking a coffee at the local cafe. An awesome, free feature of the region. Easy to find, parking was free and easy too. We stopped in at a backpackers cafe called "Flipping Knys" on the way out for food... More

We loved it. Huge sand dunes edging the bay, rockpools to explore, and stones smoothened and rounded by the waves. A lovely flat swimming beach . It was so nice not to have to go down steep slopes to reach the beach. There are toilets and a restaurant near the parking as you enter the beach. Whilst we were there... More

A wonderful place for a nice long walk or a drive. There are some gorgeous sights and we stopped different places to walk for a bit and take some nice pics.

West were there in November 2016. The sun shone but the howling wind kept people off the beach. It is a very pretty beach. Car parking was easy.

The whole beach from buffels bay to Brenton on sea is one of the best beaches in the world!. In summer season the Buffels bay side can get crowded. But the you walk about 800 meters towards Brenton on sea, and voila, an uncrowded beach. Always clean, and great waves to play around in. Opposite the last houses, towards Brenton... More

This is an awesome beach fit for all manner of exercise and outdoor pleasure from kite surfing to shell gathering. Yesterday we walked from Brenton along to Buffaloes and back, 10.5 Km all round, just enough to feel we'd blown away the cobwebs. Lots of washed up jellyfish festooned with sea snails, Oyster catchers, rain spider nests and lots more... More

You cannot visit the area with taking a walk along the beach, wither the beach before you reach the village or in the village, both are amazing places.

We love to visit Buffalo Bay regularly. It is unspoiled and beautiful and perfect for long walks or swims. There is a restaurant near the parking lot that offers decent food.

We were a group of people that spent the day at Buffalo Bay. we were not on the main beach more to were the old backpackers were. It was amazing. The pools made you think of an island far away. the children climbed and jumped and explored. We were secluded from any wind and had the perfect day.
