AT first glance, you may think this course is a walkover, but once you get playing a different story unfolds. Having said that it is it is playable by beginners as well as seasoned golfers. We have played this course a few times and have enjoyed it each time. So I can highly recommend a round of golf at the... More

We played all of the golf courses in this area and Knysna was our favourite. It's not the best manicured but it is a very good course. Lots of water! A well managed golf course with a lovely clubhouse. The staff were very helpful and the caddies were very good. Thoroughly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day out from travelling at this friendly golf club, whilst not being the most challenging course it certainly has enough features and interest to make this a very good day it. A very good holiday course and at half the price of some others in the area.

So let's be absolutely clear, Knysna GC isn't trying to compete with Pezula and Simola. It's a private members club without the mega money to make it a resort course. What it lacks in financial backing, it more than makes up for in it's charm, homely feel and stunning almost water level backdrop. The course is a good test for... More

Busy, very busy golf course, even on a Monday. Flat terrain and fun to walk. Yes, lots of water, looks easy but looks can be deceiving.

It was raining when I played here for the one and only time so far, so it was not at it's best. but for the most part I found it quite a standard type course - okay to play but nothing spectacular or too exciting about it. A little over-priced for the quality, I think.

I have really enjoyed playing this golf course but as a visitor be wary of playing at the weekend. My midweek experience was good but at the weekend visitors are not welcome. Our pre-booked tee time was completely ignored and we were left to jostle with a whole bunch of other visitors off the tenth, most of whom either didn't... More

If you like good quality fairways and greens and a flat walking course then this is for you. Enough trees and water to make it challenging and you won't get better value in the Western Cape. They have a good deal if, like me, you're staying in Knysna for a few weeks. Excellent club house and staff. Play later in... More

In a place which has 2 fantastic championship courses Knysna Golf Club provides an opportunity to play a very well laid out interesting course at a very reasonable price. Very good.
