Wine tasting was so II inspireing - the girl couldn’t tell me the wi es in Hannibal as she mumbled - couldn’t manage the Mourvèdre at all. Chocolate was seriously tasteless - probably a tad old , if there were any wine elements to it I seriously tries and failed to find them. R100 for a sip of red and a stale chocolate is a joke. ( on me ) . Chardonnay was pleasant enough.

Great setting and beautifully set out, attentive service and amazing platters. Wine tasting exceptionally expensive and very meagre amounts, better to buy 3 glasses of different wines than premium wine tasting. This made the visit very disappointing.

We have been visiting since Peter started making wine and it just gets better. All wines are superbly crafted and this year the Sauvignon Blanc Reserve was outstanding.Peter very kindly opened a Tete de Cuvee Pinot Noir which was very complex and delicious. The tasting room is very burgundy - like.Cool well lighted and not over the top.Always a rewarding experience.

We had great wine served with a delicious platter of cheese, salame, pâtés, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and home baked bread. The sommelier was incredible! Lovely experience.

We were told about this winery on the outskirts of Hermanus so we searched it out. Their Chardonnay is amazing. If you love wine this winery is a must.!!!

A lovely but pretentious setting. Staff were rather snooty and we were asked to pay to taste wine. We ended up tasting a few but left disgusted at the commercialism of this enterprise.

We always visit this estate when down in the Cape - always helpful, friendly and accommodating. We were fortunate enough to bump into Peter Finlayson when we were departing so were able to congratulate him on the 5 star recognition by Platters for 2016.

We arrived here late one afternoon and were pleased to be warmly welcomed to this boutique winery. We sampled a variety of their wines and liked each of them. This is a beautiful venue that is tastefully decorated. The washrooms were a treat with attention to detail noticeable. Wine tasting is more than the wine, it is the people, the venue, the ambiance, attention to the little things that lead to a memorable experience. This place hit the spot.

Lovely location. Several tasting and pairing options available. The charcuterie was fresh and plenty for 2 people. Service was friendly, and wine knowledge was excellent.
